THE MARK OF THE BEAST

666

The Apostle John had a great vision of the future, which he described in detail in the Book of Revelation. Part of that vision involved a mysterious mark on the hand or forehead in order to by or sell goods and services. This technology has only been available in fairly recent decades, but is advancing in sophistication on a monthly basis.

WHAT IS IT?

Speculation regarding the exact nature of mark of the beast has been the subject of much debate. Of course, nobody knows for sure, but theories ranging from tattoos to barcodes, to implanted computer chips have been presented for decades.

WHAT WE KNOW

We Know:

1. No one will be able buy or sell (goods or services) without the mark

2. A rejection of God and acceptance of the beast (Satan/Antichrist) will be the requirement for receiving the mark

3. The mark is the number of man (666), which takes wisdom to understand

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Imagine not being able to participate in the economy. To say times would be

difficult is an understatement. Survival might be impossible.

2. Rejection of God cannot be reversed; rejecting the beast brings eternal life

3. God will reveal the mystery of the man behind 666 in His time to those who

live in the wisdom of embracing Christ

WHAT CAN I DO

Ask Christ to come into your life, acknowledge His sacrifice on the cross, accept his eternal forgiveness, avoid sin, continue in that walk, and have faith that he will provide

FROM THE BOOK OF REVELATION

Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.

Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
